Please pray for my family and I, as my biological mother (not my stepmom I live with, but my real mom) was found by her caretaker in her home, passed away this morning. She has had a long history of health problems, but this was still sudden and unexpected.

Thank you everyone for any prayers, thoughts, well-wishes, support, etc.

Roperry77

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I am so sorry to hear of your biological mom's passing. She is with the Angels now and serving as your Guardian Angel. I hope she gets to meet my Mom who passed when I was less then 2 years old.

Moms' love always stays with you. Your Mom will always be with you in your heart and soul.

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers at this sad time.

Michael

Thank you Rocketcnj (and everyone else). Apparently something is wrong that my hotmail was not alerting me to the new posts, but it's okay. They are still here for me when I sign in at least. I have obviously just been busy with trying to get everything taken care, while still take time for myself to eat 3 times a day, rest when I need to, and get at least 6-7 hours minimum of sleep before I get up for the day. Yup, I'm doing that well enough that "I am at least still doing as oppsosed to not doing", and "I'm at least doing, even if how is open to debate." (not bad choices for coping mechanisms huh?)

In my talking with the person from the funeral home, I have at least been given an opportunity to see the coroner's report enough to see how my mom's death was listed as some form of articular yadda yadda heart disease I can't spell, much less pronounce, but brought on obesity, COPD, and diabetes, but basically the biggest factor in my mom's passing was the heart disease being caused by her being too short for her weight, that her heart and lungs were pretty much too "cramped" inside of her chest to work correctly (if that isn't enough to scare someone into being more serious in taking better care of their weight and health, I don't know what is....it has been for me at least). At least it still one known thing versus a bajillion unknown possiblities, and that it is giving everyone in the family closure enough to make things slightly more "bearable".

The service is going to be Monday, the 26th, the day after christmas, so it's at least not directly on top of the rest of the stress of the holiday weekend, so a lot of prayers will be needed then most of all. Thank you once again for all of the support, and well wishes. They mean a lot to my family (and to me too of course).

Thank you libbonobo. Even before my mom passed, I was already wishing the chat room was a little more active sometimes, just to have good friends to talk about "junk" going on in my life at the time, but it's okay. I've still had enough IRL friends keeping me company with phone calls, that it has helped get through whatever I needed to at the time, that I have at least been doing "okay" for the most part. Anyway, I hope everyone on here has a Merry Christmas, and takes the time to cherish and remember everything, and everyone who mean the most at these times of year.

I should log in here more often. I'm sorry I wasn't able to offer love and support earlier, buddy. But I hope things have become a bit easier for you since your Mom's passing. I wish you peace and serenity during this time. Hugs to you.
