Approaching Reunion

I find my mind drifting

Not weighted by worry

Unconcerned, this night, by anything

Content to simply be

Knowing in time all will be as it should

Understanding my love awaits me

As my heart swells in anticipation

For unspeakable bliss to come

Daydreaming occasionally

Of having your arms around me

Sleeping always alongside you

My arms around you as I dream

I know together again we will be

Holding each other happily.
